Questions
Are images extracted at full quality?
Yes. Photos stored as JPEG are copied out byte for byte, exactly as they are in the PDF, with no re-compression. Other images are saved as lossless PNG, keeping transparency.
Why are some images missing?
Some PDFs use fax or JBIG2 compression (common in scanned black-and-white documents), which this tool can't decode; it tells you how many were skipped. Vector drawings and charts aren't images, so they aren't extracted.
Are my files uploaded anywhere?
No. The tool runs as code in your browser tab and processes the file on your own device. Nothing is sent to a server, and the site's security policy blocks the page from sending data to any other website. You can check: open your browser's developer tools, watch the Network tab while the tool runs, and you'll see no upload.
