Questions
Can other people edit or remove my annotations?
By default they're saved as standard PDF annotations, which other apps such as Acrobat, Preview and browsers display, and can edit or delete. Tick Flatten to make them a permanent part of the page.
Can I write in Hindi, Nepali or other scripts?
Yes. Text the standard PDF fonts can't show is drawn by your browser and added as an image, so it looks right everywhere.
Can I edit annotations that were already in the PDF?
No. You can add new annotations; existing ones are kept as they are.
Are my files uploaded anywhere?
No. The tool runs as code in your browser tab and processes the file on your own device. Nothing is sent to a server, and the site's security policy blocks the page from sending data to any other website. You can check: open your browser's developer tools, watch the Network tab while the tool runs, and you'll see no upload.
