Questions
Is the cropped-out content deleted?
No. Like most PDF editors, cropping sets the visible area of the page; the content outside is hidden in every reader but still in the file. To remove sensitive content, use a redaction tool such as Mask Citizenship Number instead.
What does Detect margins do?
It renders the page, finds where the content starts and ends, and draws a box around it with a small border.
Are my files uploaded anywhere?
No. The tool runs as code in your browser tab and processes the file on your own device. Nothing is sent to a server, and the site's security policy blocks the page from sending data to any other website. You can check: open your browser's developer tools, watch the Network tab while the tool runs, and you'll see no upload.
