Questions
How are XML attributes represented?
As keys starting with @_. For example <note id="1"> becomes {"note": {"@_id": 1}}, and the same works in reverse.
What about JSON arrays at the top level?
XML needs a single root element, so arrays are wrapped in a root element (name it as you like) with each entry as an <item>.
Are my files uploaded anywhere?
No. The tool runs as code in your browser tab and processes the file on your own device. Nothing is sent to a server, and the site's security policy blocks the page from sending data to any other website. You can check: open your browser's developer tools, watch the Network tab while the tool runs, and you'll see no upload.
